Assalaamu Alaykum and Welcome to all new students!
This blog/ site has been created to assist all students to achieve the outcomes of the New 2026 Read & Write Arabic Course, which will run from 27 Jan to 17 February at Masjidul Quds, Gatesville.
The outcomes are as follow:
THE COURSE WILL COVER THE FOLLOWING:
1. Reading & Writing all the letters of the Arabic Alphabet in their different forms;
2. Reading & Writing 100s of words and phrases found in Al-Qurãn (with understanding);
3. Understanding the Makhãrij (Place of Articulation) of all letters;
4. Reading with proper Tajwĩd;
5. Reading & Writing Simple Arabic Sentences (with understanding).
THE COURSE IS AIMED AT ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS, IE. PEOPLE WHO:
1. Cannot Read the Arabic Alphabet;
2. Cannot Read Arabic Words;
3. Can Read, but cannot Write Arabic;
4. Cannot Read Al- Qurãn with Tajwĩd;
5. Cannot identify the different words in Al- Qurãn;
6. Do not understand Arabic at all.
Although this course is advertised as a FREE course, Registration is required. So, please do not share anything on this blog, without permission. All Students are expected to attend all the sessions at Masjidul Quds (of which there are only 3 sessions left).
Attendance at the venue is FREE for this course, but students are requested to give a small donation of R50 or more per week. This donation will help to pay the mosque the required fee/ donation. It will also help me to develop more Video and Audio Lessons and simplified materials to assist thousands of other students who cannot afford to pay. Through this voluntary donation, students will not only receive access to this special students blog (which will make available all the notes, including the complete 68-page Read Arabic Today e-book, as well as 2 Arabic Dictionaries - of more than 1300 pages), but also several other Arabic blogs, as well as dozens of Video and Audio Lessons, Quizzes and much more.
In addition to this, all these materials will remain available to all registered students for the entire year 2026.
